Introduction
This appliance functions as a support vehicle for Airport Rescue and Fire-Fighting Vehicles
(ARFFV's) as well as providing fire fighting and rescue services for the airport facilities
themselves. Also, depending on CAT* requirement of the airport it can be a first response ARFFV
itself. Based typically on a Mercedes or Scania high performance chassis/cab or similar.
The unit shown is operated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Airport Emergency
Service.
